Up for sale is this beautiful Yamaha KX500AF. This bike was built from the ground up on a Yamaha YZ450F Platform. Completely stripped down to the frame, each part meticulously cleaned and restored to new condition. The frame has been professionally welded by Strong Weld in Tacoma. Custom manufactured engine mounts, from billet stock polished aluminum. The conversion is constructed so as to use as many manufacture parts as possible, to make cost of ownership lower for the buyer. The Exhaust System is FMF Gnarly for CR500, adapted to the KX500 by a custom machined billet aluminum exhaust header adapter. The Muffler is a CR500 FMF Q, with spark arrestor so it comes ready to hit the trails and slips right on to the CR500 pipe.

The KX500AF is a completely developed high performance alternative to expensive-to-maintain 4 strokes. The KX500AF utilizes the advanced, modern aluminum chassis of the YZ450F with refined suspension and an aggressive JGR Racing look. The KX500AF combines the fierce power of the power valve equipped KX500 engine and the advanced features of the latest aluminum chassis and suspension resulting in a lightweight, ultra powerful motorcycle.
The combination of light weight big power and great stability result in a bike that is as at home on a motocross track as it is in the desert and is ready to to tackle the steepest dunes with ease. You never have to worry about needing more power when you are the KX500AF. The widely known KX500 Power plant is recognized as one of the most powerful engines ever manufactured and in stock trim has produced up to 60 hp on the dyno. Dry weight of this machine is 225lbs, which makes it lighter than most 250's on the market today, and approx 10 lbs lighter than 450 4t's on the market today!
Similar hybrids of this nature are sold for up to $19,000 from Service Honda; and Pre-Owned Hybrids for between $8,000 to $10,500.
